As a real estate broker, I get asked almost daily for suggestions on family-friendly things to do with kids in our area. So I decided to get my production team together to follow me around on all our family’s adventures and showcase all the great things to do right in our backyard! Hudson Yacht Club is THE summer hangout spot for families, couples, and friends of all ages. It’s right in the heart of town on the Lake of Two Mountains, hosting members and families for breezy summer days on the water as well as offering swimming lessons.

Parc Omega is a wildlife park and home to a wide range of wild animals that are indigenous to Quebec. They have a huge area to roam, and live amongst other species of animals that they would normally be living with in their natural habitats. You get to drive through the habitats from the comfort of your own vehicle, making the experience easily accessible for the whole family including younger children or people with mobility restrictions.

Bedard Park is a great place to have some fun with the entire family. It’s centrally located in Saint-Lazare within walking distance to a couple of ice cream shops, the family-friendly Bravo’s restaurantas well as a Tim Horton’s right around the corner for a shot of caffein. In addition to the splash pad, you’ve got the baseball diamond, the skate park, the tennis courts, and my kids just LOVE the playground as well.
